APC Publicity Secretary Gunned Down in Cold Blood

The Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Plateau State, Sylvanus Namang, tragically lost his life on Saturday in Pankshin town, Pankshin Local Government Area of Plateau State. Namang, a dedicated party member, was shot dead outside his hotel room around 7:30 p.m.

The APC chairman in Plateau, Rufus Bature, confirmed the shocking incident, expressing profound sadness over the loss of Namang. Bature described the deceased as a reliable ally who was deeply committed to the APC’s growth at both the grassroots and state levels.

The motive behind Namang’s murder remains unclear, and the police have yet to provide any official statement regarding the incident.

Plateau State, like many other regions in Nigeria, has been grappling with security challenges, including attacks by armed groups. Despite efforts by security agencies, these attacks have continued to occur, posing a significant threat to the safety and security of residents.

APC is currently preparing an official statement on Namang’s untimely death as the party mourns the loss of one of its dedicated members.
