Gbajabiamila Urges Unity to Tackle Terrorism and Kidnapping in Nigeria

Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, has called for unity among Nigerians to combat the escalating challenges of terrorism and kidnapping in the country. He emphasized the need for collective action to address these issues during his participation in the House of Representatives by-election in Lagos state.

Gbajabiamila assured Nigerians that they would soon experience the benefits of the removal of fuel subsidies. He emphasized that the government’s decision to remove the subsidy was a necessary step towards addressing economic fundamentals and ensuring long-term stability.

Addressing concerns about the current economic situation, Gbajabiamila stated that the President and his administration are committed to alleviating the plight of the people. He acknowledged that economic challenges are a global issue but emphasized the government’s efforts to implement policies that would strengthen the economy.

Regarding insecurity, Gbajabiamila urged Nigerians to support the President and his administration instead of engaging in negative criticisms. He emphasized the need for collective action to overcome security threats, highlighting the President’s dedication to addressing these challenges.

Reflecting on the by-election, Gbajabiamila described the process as peaceful and smooth. He advised the winner to prioritize the interests of the people of Surulere and remain dedicated to legislative responsibilities.

Twelve candidates from different political parties are vying for the votes of registered voters in the election. The seat became vacant due to Gbajabiamila’s resignation after being appointed as Chief of Staff to Mr Tinubu.
