President Bola Tinubu is set to embark on an official visit to the Netherlands, responding to an invitation from Prime Minister Mark Rutte. During his time in the Netherlands, President Tinubu will partake in high-level discussions with Prime Minister Rutte and hold separate meetings with King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima. Queen Maxima serves as the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development (UNSGSA).

Moreover, the President will participate in the Nigerian-Dutch Business and Investment Forum, facilitating collaborations and partnerships between conglomerates and organizations from both countries. This forum will particularly focus on opportunities in agriculture and water management, aiming to develop innovative solutions for sustainable farming practices.

Following his engagements in the Netherlands, President Tinubu will proceed to attend a special World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, scheduled for April 28-29. This forum, centered on Global Collaboration, Growth, and Energy for Development, will gather over 1,000 leaders from various sectors, including business, government, and academia.

During the WEF meeting, President Tinubu and his delegation will actively engage in discussions aligned with his Renewed Hope Agenda for the country, focusing on fostering collaboration and addressing key challenges for development.

Accompanying the President will be several ministers and senior government officials, enhancing the delegation’s capacity to participate effectively in the discussions and maximize the benefits of these international engagements.
