DCG Kemi Nanna Nandap Appointed Comptroller-General

President Bola Tinubu has given his approval for the appointment of DCG Kemi Nanna Nandap as the Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), effective from March 1, 2024.

DCG Nandap will succeed Mrs. Caroline Wura-Ola Adepoju, whose term in office ends on February 29, 2024.

Prior to her new role, Nandap served as the Deputy Comptroller-General overseeing the Migration Directorate of the Service.

According to a statement by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, the presidential spokesman, President Tinubu expects that the new Comptroller-General will advance the ongoing reforms in the service and establish a robust mechanism for efficient and dedicated service delivery to Nigerians. The President also aims for Nandap to enhance the nation’s security through proactive and effective border security and migration management.

The appointment of DCG Kemi Nanna Nandap as the new Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service marks a significant step towards strengthening the service and improving its effectiveness in serving the Nigerian people.
