Nnamdi Kanu’s Family Accuses DSS of Blocking Visitors, Citing Health Concerns

The family of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has accused the Department of State Services (DSS) of preventing him from receiving visitors.

Emmanuel Kanu, Nnamdi Kanu’s brother, alleges that the DSS is denying access to visitors to conceal the deteriorating health condition of the IPOB leader. Despite court orders mandating his release, Nnamdi Kanu remains in DSS custody.

The DSS had been directed by an Abuja Federal High Court to permit Kanu access to family members and lawyers twice a week, but his family claims that the agency is not complying with the court order, raising concerns about transparency and adherence to legal directives.
