“Sowore woke the youth population from docility at the time there was political apathy…”

Olorunfemi Adeyeye

During the extension of the monthly series of the State of the Nation, Mr. Olorunfemi Adeyeye, a chieftain of the African Action Congress discussed in details how the Buhari administration has been a monumental failure, and one that Nigerians have had to endure for over seven years. He addressed the issue of ASUU strike as one of the unavoidable consequences of having bad leader(s).

He was asked to talk about what looks like a loggerhead between the Obidients (supporters of of Peter Obi, the Labour party presidential candidate) and #revolutionnow activists (supporters of Omoyele Sowore, presidential candidate of the African Action Congress).

Olorunfemi stated that it’s laughable to believe that someone from the establishment can be on the side of the masses.

“Peter Obi has lived all his life doing nothing for the masses; just imagine someone who said he would take you (Nigeria) from consumption to production being a major importer, look everywhere, you will find things Peter Obi imports to this country. Sowore woke the youth population from docility at the time there was political apathy among the youths of this country, and has spent a good part of his life fighting for the oppressed and disrupting the ruling class. People supporting Peter Obi are woke yet confused individuals who would get it right, after sometime.” Olorunfemi Adeyeye stated.

He also added that there is no such thing like balkanization of the African Action Congress. He said some imposters tried to hijack the party but the party faithfuls have been able to keep everything under control.
