Yoruba Secessionists Occupied Oyo State Secretariat Over Agitation For Oduduwa Republic| GOVERNMEND
Agitators of the Oduduwa Republic were today seen in Ibadan, the Capital city of Oyo state protesting the actualization of an independent Yoruba nation.
“The country is not one. We have been cheated for far too long and nothing seems to work for the Yoruba people in the country in spite of the level of literacy in the region” Moshood Abioye, a Yoruba activist told GovernMend reporter during a phone interview this afternoon.
While the protesters were marching peacefully, police and other law enforcement agencies were on ground to maintain law and order.
