N50 Million Bounty Offered for Capture of Katsina’s Most Wanted Bandits

The Katsina State Police Command has announced a N50 million reward for anyone providing valuable information leading to the arrest of two notorious bandit kingpins, Modi Modi and Jan Kare. These individuals are believed to be behind several terrorist attacks in the state, particularly in the Kankara and Safana Local Government Areas.

In a statement issued by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, ASP Abubakar Aliyu, the police emphasized the importance of community cooperation in combating criminal activities. The safety and well-being of residents are paramount, and the state government and police command are committed to taking decisive actions against those threatening peace and stability.

The identity of informants and the information they provide will be kept strictly confidential to ensure their safety. The police urge all concerned citizens to come forward with any relevant information that could assist in apprehending the masterminds behind these crimes of kidnapping and banditry.
