Germany Offers Fully-Funded Scholarships to International Students through SBW Berlin Scholarship 2024

Germany has launched the SBW Berlin Scholarship 2024 program, offering fully-funded scholarships to international students. The initiative is aimed at supporting talented individuals from developing countries who have demonstrated social commitment and intend to utilize their acquired skills in social projects at non-profit or social organizations in their home countries.

This international student scholarship covers both graduate and undergraduate studies and provides a comprehensive package, including a monthly stipend, accommodation allowance, travel reimbursement, and a complete waiver of tuition fees.

The SBW Berlin scholarship is part of SBW Berlin’s global efforts to promote education and knowledge sharing. It particularly targets young people facing financial challenges and encourages them to use their education for the long-term benefit of non-profit ventures, ideally in their home countries.

Successful recipients of the scholarship will receive accommodation, a living allowance, and travel expenses to and from Berlin. Eligible candidates must be enrolled in a recognized university, pursuing or planning to pursue a Master’s degree, with a minimum GPA of 2.0. They should also have experience in the non-profit or social sector, be between 18 and 30 years old, and demonstrate a commitment to working in their home country or engaging in charitable activities in Germany.

Applicants are required to submit a letter of recommendation or motivation for initial assessment, after which selected candidates will gain access to the online application portal. The application deadlines are May 15 to June 30 and November 15 to December 31 annually.
