While speaking on the State of the Nation, Sanusi who’s a journalist maintained that the government is not showing genuine efforts to meet the demand of ASUU to end the on-going strike that has kept most of the public universities under lock and keys.

He went ahead to speak on the cost of running a bicameral legislature, which he considered to be needless and just an avenue to keep unproductive individuals to milk the country, with titles. “To say Nigeria is broke is a joke, we can’t run bicameral legislature if indeed we are broke. We have fully corrupt politicians who go around showing stolen funds but they want poor Nigerians to believe there’s no fund for an important sector like education”.” This he stated during the interview conducted on twitter space.
