President Tinubu Allocates N100 Billion to School Feeding Programme in 2024 Budget

Dr. Yetunde Adeniji, the Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on the School Feeding Programme (SFP), has praised the President for allocating N100 billion to the programme in the 2024 budget. In a statement issued by Mr. Olumobi Adewale from the office of the SSA in Abuja on Tuesday, Adeniji expressed her appreciation for the President’s commitment to the welfare of underprivileged children in the country, as evidenced by the substantial budget allocation.

The statement highlighted the empathetic nature of President Tinubu, emphasizing how the N100 billion allocation for the school feeding programme underscores his dedication to the wellbeing and advancement of the Nigerian populace. Adeniji also commended the President’s consistent display of leadership qualities, including energy, strength, capacity, empathy, and compassion in guiding Nigeria.

Expressing gratitude for the reintroduction of the School Feeding Programme (SFP), Adeniji noted its potential to address issues such as child streetism while enhancing socioeconomic activities in the communities where the schools are located. She further underscored the significance of the substantial budget allocation as a testament to the programme’s importance.

However, while lauding the President’s decision and the budget allocation, Adeniji assured President Tinubu and Nigerians that the allocated funds would be utilized prudently to fulfill the President’s renewed hope agenda.
