The way banditry is handled in Nigeria makes it unclear to know if to call bandits criminals who should feel the wrath of the law or people who are merely exercising their constitutional rights to torment peace loving Nigerians. Nigerian government has a suspicious tolerance for bandits. If anyone says they’re government sponsored, I wouldn’t argue against.
Crime is crime, regardless of who the perpetrator is. The Buhari-led-administration hasn’t only failed in protecting lives and properties, it has incubated insurgency and banditry to a level that’s given an average bandit to be a millionaire. Nigeria can’t be conditioned to exist in this manner without collapsing later. Security is the primary function of a state. It’s safe to say Buhari has failed completely.
No futuristic government negotiates with terrorists, Buhari and many Northern governors do, and it’s definitely going to set this country on fire in the future that’s so close.
