The Missing First Lady Wimped Out of the Drama Villa

Inside Nigeria, Villa is one micro state where the 8th wonder of the world has happened.
The gunshot, exit orders within the first family, theft, power tussle are astonishments Hollywood is yet to thrill us with. No residential space in Nigeria explains how dramatic Nigeria is better than the State House, the magnificent structure that harbours the first Nigerian family. The First Lady is observed to have gone missing since September 2020, after Sahara Reporters reported her absence over reasons suspected to be in the neighbourhood of security.

President Muhammadu Buhari is one colossal failure that has many failures to show for every argument that counters his failing nature. The “woman in the other room” left the country after she had repeatedly cried out to Nigerians over the activities of the cabals in the Villa. No doubt, she was going through hellish condition due to the obvious fact that she’s married to a failed husband.

I am beginning to think we ask too much from Buhari. If a man cannot bring his nuclear family together, he definitely cannot be successful in governing a nation of over 200 million people with plenteous diversities.

Aisha Buhari, the First Lady has gone into hiding since September, and they’ve been no official report about her whereabout. As we agitate to have our Chibok girls and Dapchi boys back, can we equally protest, ask the President to bring back our First Lady that has gone missing.

The First Lady, inspite of her relationship with the President has been very vocal about misgovernance and the cabals hijacking power from her husband, she has never failed to talk when and where necessary about those that dictate the tone for the President. Since she wimped out, we have heard nothing from the agitator married to a dictator.

It is indeed disturbing that the country has fell flat before a man who would have failed if he was made a Councillor. Buhari has no charisma and the requisite ideology to keep this country running, he doesn’t need time to be a better President, he needs time to be a better husband, instead. If Nigeria was an aeroplane, let’s have the imagery that the pilot, captain Buhari has left the cock pit to learn how to place compass – that’s the obvious situation of the country. While many may have concluded that Buhari is a sadist, are you insensitive to the fact that he has failed in his primary roles as a husband.

I am troubled that we took our trust and love for Buhari just too far. A man who promised to litter the country with employments, health care facilities, infrastructure, social amenities and many more necessities has lost the First Lady to another country after she was promised to be kept at the other room.

President Muhammadu Buhari, a failed husband to the wife and failed President to the governed, where is our First Lady, where is Aishat Buhari?
